| 内容記述 | The Pythagorean tuning is a system of musical tuning generated by octaves （diapason）, perfect fifths（diapente）, perfect fourths（diatessaron）. In other words, this generated by perfectly consonant intervals. However, in many literatures, there is a misconception that the Pythagorean tuning is mathematical because Pythagoras was also a mathematician. In this paper, we first consider the Pythagorean tuning independently of the mathematical elements, analyse the this system. After that, we consider the mathematical properties. In investigating the mathematical properties, we use logarithms and Euclidean reciprocity. And the result is expressed using regular and negative continued fraction. | |||||||||
