| 内容記述 | 本稿では『全国消費実態調査』（総務省）の個票を用いて，バブル崩壊後の高齢者世帯の所得，消費，資産の格差の動向を確認するとともに，高齢者の就業構造と消費構造との関係を整理した．また『全国消費実態調査』を利用する上で従来ほとんど指摘されてこなかった問題（公的年金給付による月次平均所得のバイアス）及びその改善策も示した．高齢者を含む世帯類型は多様であり全ての世帯を一律に扱うことは困難であるため，主に高齢者夫婦２人世帯を対象に分析した．消費支出の動向は相対的に安定的である一方，就業条件の悪化などにより勤労所得が低下したため，資産を切り崩して生計を補う世帯が増加していることが確認された．さらに，非勤労所得が多い世帯は労働市場から退出して現役時代に蓄積した資産を切り崩して生活している一方で，非勤労所得が少ない世帯は高齢期にも就業を続けることにより生計を維持しつつ，貯蓄を増加させていることが示唆された． | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | We investigate the inequality of income, consumption and savings for elderly households. We also analyze the relation between their employment status and consumption-saving behavior after the bubble economy in Japan. We use the microdata from the National Survey of Family Income and Expenditure in 1989, 1994, 1999 and 2004. Using kernel density estimation, we find that the households which use savings for their consumption have been increasing because of the decreasing in their labor income due to weak demand in the labor market for the elderly. Moreover, regression analyses suggest that the households with much nonlabor income retire and use savings for their living, whereas the households with little nonlabor income continue to work and save some of the earnings for their consumption of goods in the near future. | |||||||||||||
